Job Description
Aurum Contracting is a privately owned company working on remote construction projects in QLD. We are seeking a locally based, Water Cart Operator with HR or above license, to join our team in a casual full time role on a civil construction project near Mount Isa QLD working either a 21/7 or 6/1 roster. The role will start on completion of all pre-employment inductions and screening by the successful candidate. Note: Only candidates who live in or near Mount Isa will be considered.

Perform water cart operations and other duties as directed by the site supervisor e.g

Assisting with other tasks within scope of experience and skills
n

Long term role, minimum six months full time. Note: this is not a casual on call role, you will work each day of the site roster. All meals and accommodation and inductions paid for. Excellent hourly rate

Essential Skills and Experience
n
Must live in or near Mount Isa QLD. This is NOT a FIFO role.
n
Must have a current HR or above valid Driver's License
n
Ability/Willingness
to work rosters e.g. 10/4, 14/7 or 21/7,



rosters are set by the client and may vary depending on site requirements. All rosters include weekends
n
Construction White Card
n
MUST be able to provide proof of residency and identity e.g. birth certificate or passport.
n
Knowledge and experience in the construction industry
n
Ability to complete all tasks relating to operating and maintaining trucks
n
Ability and willingness to follow direction from the Site Supervisor
n
Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing and health screening
n
Ability and willingness to undertake online and face to face training and inductions
n
Must have a 'smart phone'
n
Ability and willingness to download/install safety and other apps for use on site
n
Ability and willingness to complete daily project documentation
n
Robust safety awareness
n
Ability to provide documented proof of right to work in Australia
n
Other tickets and licenses e.g. Roller, Loader, Skid steer, Excavator
