This is a great next step for an assistant management accountant with a couple of years behind them who wants to build real depth in manufacturing finance — WIP, inventory and costing — working alongside an experienced team, with genuine pathways for career progression as we expand.

Your Role
n
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a hands-on support role across the finance function, helping keep the numbers accurate and the business informed. Key responsibilities will include:

Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting and reconciliations.
n
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
n
Helping prepare inventory and Work in Progress (WIP) analysis and reports.
n
Assisting with financial analysis and reporting for management and external stakeholders.
n
Supporting payroll processing and financial transactions (invoicing, Accounts Payable, trade and asset finance).
n
Assisting with cash flow monitoring and processing local and international payments.
n
Maintaining and updating Excel models for budgeting, cash flow forecasting and payroll.
n
Supporting ERP and systems projects, including data entry, testing and reporting.
n
Assisting with ad-hoc reporting, projects and analysis as required.
n
Building relationships with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications & Skills
n
n
Degree in Accounting,



Finance or a related discipline.
n
Working towards CA / CPA / CIMA qualification.
n
2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
n
Great to have experience in manufacturing.
n
Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals; exposure to Work in Progress (WIP) processes highly regarded.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power Query skills highly regarded.
n
Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O; or similar ERP systems desirable.
n
Basic knowledge of Power BI is a bonus, but not essential.
n
Strong command of Office 365 apps (Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
n
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, organisation and prioritisation skills.
