Join the Supply team as a Part-Time Supply Officer, where you will play an important role in ensuring our clinical and non-clinical teams have the supplies they need to deliver high-quality patient care across our hospital network.
n
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of the hospital's supply function, from receiving and storing stock through to inventory management, distribution and resolving supply-related enquiries.
n
About You

You are organised, reliable and detail-focused, with a practical approach to managing stock and supporting a busy healthcare environment. You enjoy working as part of a team, are confident using computer systems and take pride in maintaining accurate inventory and efficient supply processes.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Receive and process deliveries, including unloading, inspecting and accurately recording goods within the relevant systems
n
Store and organise supplies appropriately, including maintaining temperature-controlled storage requirements where applicable
n
Rotate stock to maintain appropriate inventory levels and minimise spoilage or wastage
n
Distribute supplies to hospital departments and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained
n
Monitor and manage inventory using computer systems, including SAP
n
Identify stock discrepancies and take appropriate action to maintain accurate inventory records
n
Place orders to replenish stock and support ongoing supply requirements
n
Follow up and expedite back orders for items that are temporarily unavailable
n




Respond to supply-related enquiries from hospital staff and elevate complex issues to the appropriate stakeholders
n
Follow safe manual handling, storage and workplace practices and comply with relevant policies and guidelines
n
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and appropriately, where required
n
Maintain a clean, organised and safe supply environment
n
Work collaboratively with Supply team members and healthcare professionals across the hospital
n

You Will Also Bring
n
n
Previous experience in supply, warehousing, inventory or a similar environment
n
Strong organisational and time management skills
n
High attention to detail and accuracy when receiving, recording and managing stock
n
Confidence using computerised inventory systems, with SAP experience highly regarded
n
Ability to safely handle, store and distribute a range of supplies
n
Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment, where applicable
n
Robust communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to respond to enquiries and resolve supply-related issues effectively
n
A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work
n
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
n

Remuneration
n
On offer is a base hourly rate of $*****–$***** + superannuation, based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties and allowances (QLD Support Services Level 2).
