PCF Workspace Furniture is looking for a reliable and hands‐on Trade Assistant to join our cabinetmaking and custom furniture team in Brendale.

About the role
n
Working alongside our cabinetmakers, you'll assist with the manufacture and assembly of commercial furniture. Your day‐to‐day duties will include:

Assisting cabinetmakers with production and assembly
n
Preparing materials and components for manufacture
n
Using hand and power tools
n
Sanding, edging, drilling and general furniture preparation
n
Assembling furniture and components
n
Moving and handling materials
n
Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe
n
Assisting with general factory duties as required
n

About you
n
We're looking for someone who:
n

Is reliable, punctual and has a solid work ethic
n
Is comfortable using hand and power tools
n
Has good attention to detail
n
Can follow instructions and work efficiently
n
Is physically capable of manual handling
n
Works well as part of a team
n
Takes pride in the quality of their work
n
n
Previous experience in cabinetmaking, joinery, furniture manufacturing, construction or a similar trade environment would be highly regarded, but a trade qualification is not required.
