Operations Manager – Solar, Battery, Air Conditioning & Heat Pumps

As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operational performance of the NSW business and work closely with our sales, administration, installation and management teams. First Class Energy is a growing Australian energy solutions company specialising in Solar, Battery Storage, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps, helping households reduce their energy costs through smarter, more effective technology and available government incentives.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Managing the operational workflow from sale through to installation and job completion
n
Coordinating installation schedules across Solar, Batteries, Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps
n
Managing internal administration and operations staff
n
Coordinating installers, subcontractors, electricians and other trades
n
Ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently and installations are completed within expected timeframes
n
Monitoring job pipelines and identifying delays or bottlenecks before they become problems
n
Ensuring documentation and job requirements are completed correctly prior to installation
n
Managing escalated customer issues and finding practical, fast solutions
n
Monitoring installer performance,



job quality and customer experience
n
Developing and improving systems, procedures and workflows as the company grows
n

About you
n
n
Previous experience in operations, installation coordination or project management
n
Strong preference for experience within Solar, Batteries, Air Conditioning, Heat Pumps, Electrical, HVAC or a similar trade/service industry
n
Experience managing multiple installations or projects simultaneously
n
Strong understanding of scheduling and coordinating trades
n
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
n
Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
n
Strong communication skills with customers, installers, salespeople and management
n
Experience managing or supervising staff
n
Good computer and CRM skills
n
Strong attention to detail
n
