Job Description

The successful applicant will be involved in the fabrication and installation of a range of structural and architectural metalwork. The role will include working from drawings and measurements through to fabrication, welding and finishing.

Key responsibilities

n

Fabricating and welding structural and architectural steelwork
n
MIG and TIG welding as required
n
Reading and interpreting workshop drawings and plans
n
Measuring, cutting, drilling and assembling metal components
n
Preparing materials and components for fabrication
n
Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within required timeframes
n
Maintaining a clean, protected and organised workshop
n
Working both independently and within a team
n
Following workplace health and safety procedures
n

About you

n

Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator / Welder
n
Strong welding and fabrication skills
n




The ability to read and understand technical drawings
n
Valuable measuring and problem-solving skills
n
High attention to detail
n
A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
A commitment to producing quality workmanship
n
A positive and professional attitude
n
Trade qualifications and relevant experience will be highly regarded
n
