ASPHALT CARTAGE TRUCK DRIVER - BRENDALE - HC or MC

Looking for a change of gears? AUSTCORP is currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Cartage Truck Driver to join a busy road surfacing operation based in Brendale.
n

THE ROLE
n
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient cartage of asphalt and materials to and from work sites across the Brisbane region.
n
n
Transporting asphalt from plants to roadwork sites
n
Loading and unloading asphalt safely and efficiently
n
Operating your truck in accordance with site and road safety requirements
n
Completing pre-start and vehicle checks
n
Working closely with asphalt crews, supervisors and site personnel
n
Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery records
n
Ensuring the truck is kept clean and in good working condition
n
n
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
n
n
Experienced in truck driving, cartage or civil construction
n
Ideally has previous asphalt experience
n
Holds a current HC or MC licence
n
Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
n
Comfortable working around busy road construction sites
n
Able to work independently while being part of a crew
n
Physically capable of working in an outdoor construction environment
n
Available for early starts, overtime and occasional night work where required
n
n
Asphalt experience is highly regarded, but we are happy to consider drivers from other civil, quarry, transport or construction backgrounds.
