We are hiring a Warehouse Storeperson to join our Warehouse Department on a contract basis until 15 February ****. Our warehouse is based in St. Leonards.
n
Minimum 1-2 years of warehouse experience is required for this position.
n

Key responsibilities
n
n
Identify, pick and pack products
n
Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices
n
Unload vehicles, opening packages and removing contents
n
Operate reach truck to locate stock stored on pallets
n
Operate computers to obtain details of location and quantity of items in stock
n
Labelling goods with details of storage location
n
Packing and weighing goods and sealing boxes
n
Operating specialised equipment, (electronic order pickers),



and checking goods off picking list
n
Assisting with regular stocktakes
n
May use materials handling equipment, such as an electric reach truck and hydraulic pallet lifters, to move goods
n
Assisting with other warehouse duties as required.
n
Working with the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and high standards of service are maintained at all times while complying with our OH&S; policies
n

Requirements

Strong organisational skills with a reliable, strong work ethic
n
High attention to detail
n
Physically fit to handle repetitive heavy lifting up to 25kg
n
Experience in warehouse practice is desirable
n
Basic computer skills
n
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
n
Shows initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
n
Commitment to safe work practices
n
Must have current Australian work rights
