Permanent Part-Time | 9 hours per week | Start ASAP

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed IB Chemistry Teacher to join our Secondary School on a permanent part-time basis (9 hours per week), with an immediate start.
n
You will teach Years 11 and 12, supporting students through their IB Chemistry studies and preparing them for their International Baccalaureate examinations.
n
Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering engaging and high-quality Chemistry lessons in accordance with the IB curriculum
n
Teaching and supporting students in Years 11 and 12
n
Preparing students for their IB examinations and assessments
n
Creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking and academic excellence
n
Collaborating with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing
n
Contributing positively to the multicultural and collaborative life of the school
n
Teaching across different subject areas would be an advantage
n

n Remuneration in accordance with the Independent Schools NSW/ACT Standards Model Multi-Enterprise Agreement (MEA). The full-time base salary range is $94,155 – $133,009 AUD per annum, with remuneration for this position paid pro rata based on the hours worked.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about Chemistry, committed to student success and comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment.
The ideal candidate will have: n

A Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent qualification
n
A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience
n
Proven experience teaching IB Chemistry, particularly at Years 11 and 12 level
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
n
A commitment to high educational standards and student achievement
n
The ability or willingness to teach across different subject areas would be highly regarded
n
