We're growing across NSW and are looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Field Officer to join our team across the Newcastle, Hunter (& surrounding) region.
This isn't a role where you'll be sitting behind a desk waiting for things to happen.
You'll be out there making them happen.
The Role:
As a Field Officer, you'll be a key part of Major's growth across the region, building genuine relationships with employers, schools, industry and the local community.
You'll be out on the road, meeting people, uncovering opportunities and helping connect businesses with the right training solutions across our priority trades:
Electrical
Construction
Automotive
Civil
Your days will look different, but you'll be busy making an impact.
You'll be:
Building genuine relationships with employers and industry
Creating new apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities
Getting Major Training out into the community and growing our local presence
Supporting apprentices, trainees and employers throughout their training journey
Connecting with schools,



industry groups and key stakeholders
Identifying opportunities and turning conversations into outcomes
Managing your own patch, pipeline and priorities
Representing Major and showing people what makes us different

We want employers to see who we are, a trusted training partner.
Not just another RTO.
This is a hybrid role.
You'll have the freedom to manage your own day, balancing time on the road, working from remotely and connecting with the team at our recent Beresfield facility.
What You'll Bring:
We're not necessarily looking for someone who has followed the traditional path.
Maybe you've worked in business development, recruitment, training, education or the trades.
Maybe you've got a completely different background but know how to build relationships, have a crack and get results.
What matters most is that you:
Love people and genuinely enjoy building relationships
Are confident walking into a business, starting a conversation and opening a door
Are proactive, driven and comfortable creating your own opportunities
Can manage your own time, territory and priorities
Are commercially minded without losing the human side of what we do
