Responsibilities

Tasks
Supply Chain Support
Learn and apply Supply Chain principles to real-world scenarios, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department.
Provide analysis and reports to business associates, including the preparation of KPI reporting.
Learn the stock allocation process, collaborating with Sales Support, Field Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service.
Monitor inventory levels and support strategies for backorder management, overstock scenarios, and obsolete or slow-moving stock reduction.
Assist with maintaining domestic transfer networks, monitoring stock levels by state, and ensuring optimal warehouse replenishment.




Support Supply Chain Planners in collaborating with 3PL providers and customers to improve delivery quality.
Support inventory accuracy exercises, including ad hoc auditing.
Apply a commercially minded approach when performing daily tasks, analysing and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Foster a culture of connectedness within the team and across
the wider department.
Project Support
Assist with departmental and cross-functional projects as required.
Collaborate with team members to create project documentation, including project plans, communications, status reports, and presentation materials.
Conduct research to gather relevant information and data to support project decision-making.
Track project progress, milestones, and budgets.
Support the execution of ad hoc projects within the team.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect and organise data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Use data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, SAP, and data visualisation software) to analyse trends, patterns, and key insights.
Support departmental business cases with analytical insights.
Identify and analyse cost improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with data experts to identify process improvements and optimise performance within the department and wider business.
Process & System Improvements
Identify current workflows and assist in documenting processes.
Develop an understanding of business activities and provide input to improve operational efficiency.
Identify and manage improvement initiatives to automate
daily tasks and enhance productivity.
Administrative Support
Prepare and manage departmental documentation in accordance with BSH compliance measures, ensuring accuracy
and timeliness.
Schedule meetings and events, including sending invitations, reserving rooms, and preparing materials.
Draft and manage departmental correspondence for internal
and external recipients.
Actively participate in team meetings, contribute ideas,



and offer support to colleagues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations.
Participate in BSH Student projects and collaboration sessions (if applicable).
Share knowledge and best practices with other Student Placement Program participants to foster a culture of learning.
Engage in team-building activities and initiatives to
strengthen team cohesion and collaboration.
General IT Support
Assist with IT equipment setup and systems access for new users.
Provide basic hardware and software support for employees based in Australia and New Zealand.
Support general equipment maintenance as required.
Health & Safety
Demonstrate commitment to health and safety through participation in discussions, workplace visits, hazard inspections, and risk assessments.
Report any incidents or injuries promptly.
Follow all Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Participate in consultation as required and requested.
Attend Health & Safety learning opportunities, briefings, seminars, and training sessions.
Ad Hoc
Action any ad hoc tasks as required and requested by your immediate Manager.

Currently studying and undertaking a placement as part of study.

Proven written and verbal communication skills.
