We are currently seeking an experienced
Counterbalance Forklift Operator
to join a leading panel manufacturing company based in
Dandenong South
.
n This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a
hands-on and varied manufacturing environment
and doesn't want to spend their entire shift sitting on a forklift.
n
The Role
Location:
Dandenong South
Hours:
6:00am – 2:00pm
Pay Rate:
$***** per hour
Employment:
Temporary with the opportunity to transition to permanent for the right candidate
Overtime:
Available when required
Weekend Work:
Occasional weekend work may be required
n
This is
not a sole forklift driving position
. You will float across the production floor, warehouse and dispatch areas, supporting the wider operation and taking on different tasks throughout the day.
n Your day may include forklift operations, moving materials, assisting production, machine operation and helping the team wherever required.
n About You To be successful, you will need:
n
n
Proven
Counterbalance Forklift experience
n
A current and valid Forklift Licence
n
Previous warehouse, manufacturing or production experience
n
Machine operating experience is highly preferred
n
The ability to work across different areas of a busy production floor
n
A strong work ethic and willingness to get hands-on
n
Good communication skills
n
A strong commitment to safety
n
Reliable transport and a reliable attendance record
n
