The role
n
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Cable Cutting Machine Operator to join our warehouse operations team in Braeside Vic. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for operating cable cutting equipment, measuring and preparing cable to customer requirements, supporting accurate order fulfilment, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Duties
n
Operate cable cutting machinery safely and accurately.
n
Measure, cut, label, and prepare cable orders to specification.
n
Read basic order instructions, job sheets, or picking documentation.
n
Complete quality checks to ensure correct lengths, product details, and presentation.
n
Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock movement, packing, and housekeeping.
n
Follow site safety procedures and report hazards, faults, or maintenance issues promptly.
n




Work cooperatively with warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to meet daily targets.
n
About you
n
Previous experience operating machinery, cutting equipment, or working in a warehouse workplace is preferred.
n
Strong attention to detail and ability to measure accurately.
n
Commitment to safe work practices and following procedures.
n
Physically capable of manual handling and standing for extended periods.
n
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
n
Forklift licence is essential.
n
Experience with cable, electrical products, industrial goods, or transport operations will be highly regarded.
