in every HVAC sector, this organisation has a renowned reputation for delivering large-scale projects across various sectors. We are now diversifying and looking for a Mechanical Engineer/Estimator to complement our design team.

Qualifications & experience
n
n
Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC)
n
Minimum of 3 years' industry experiencein engineering and estimating
n
Technical knowledge of mechanical designs
n
Current White Card
n
Proficient with AutoCAD
n
Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
Able to work independently and as part of a team
n
n
Responsibilities
n
n




Prepare tender submissions and estimations from mechanical construction drawings
n
Prepare estimates, quantities, prices and costing for projects
n
Interpret specifications and mechanical drawings and standards to assess impact on project costs
n
Attend client and tender review meetings
n
Inspect designs and completed projects to ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory standards, maintaining high quality and safety
n
Work with engineering software programs to deliver design drawings and heat loads
n
Create relevant documentation for clients inc. Asbuilts, O&M; manuals and installation certificates
n
Conduct site inspections and assist with design amendments and variations
n
