Job Description
Senior Accountant, Toowoomba, Don't Just Deliver
n
Tired of being buried in reviews with no say in how the client relationship actually runs? This Toowoomba firm does things differently.
n
Here, senior accountants aren't just technical reviewers, they're trusted advisors. You'll take ownership of a agile portfolio spanning business advisory, tax, financial reporting and cloud accounting, and you'll be backed to think commercially, not just tick boxes.
n
What you'll be doing:
n
Reviewing and finalising financial statements and tax returns across companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders
n
Managing complex tax matters including Div 7A, CGT, FBT and restructuring
n
Delivering proactive advisory that actually shapes client decisions, not just reporting on them after the fact
n
Reviewing, delegating and mentoring junior team members, building your leadership skills along the way
n
Working directly with clients as a trusted point of contact, not just a name on a file
n
What's in it for you:
n
Work from home flexibility once you've settled in
n
CA/CPA support,

financial assistance and real practical guidance, not just lip service
n
A genuine people-first culture with quarterly get-togethers, EOFY and Christmas celebrations
n
Study and community leave, because life doesn't stop for tax season
n
A clear runway to grow into more senior or leadership roles
n
What you'll bring:
n
3+ years' experience in Australian public practice
n
A confident, client-facing approach; you actually enjoy talking to clients, not just working on their files
n
CA/CPA completed or underway
n
Sharp attention to detail and solid organisational habits
n
A collaborative, team-first mindset with genuine ambition to grow
n
Only applicants with the legal right to work in Australia will be considered. You must be an Australian citizen (permanent resident or holding an Australian Work Visa with no restrictions) or a New Zealand citizen. We are unable to assist those seeking sponsorship.
