As a WOO4 Ranger you will work under the direction of the Ranger in Charge to assist with the supervision of staff and coordinate the planning and delivery of weekly work programs across Queensland Parks and Wildlife protected area estates.

One key focus area involves management of Kroombit Tops National Park with a solid emphasis on protection for critically endangered species including the Kroombit tinkerfrog, Kroombit treefrog and monteiths spiny crayfish. To achieve these goals rangers are undertaking extensive programs of pest, weed and fire management.
