Engineering Trades Australiaare currently recruiting experiencedPipe Weldersfor a busy workshop based in Brisbane.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Pipe Welders looking forconsistent Monday-Friday work, with occasional Saturday shifts available.
THE ROLE
Working within a professional workshop environment, you will be responsible forpipe welding, fabrication and assemblyacross a range of industrial projects.
Duties may include:
TIG, MIG, Stick and/or Flux Core pipe welding
Welding carbon and stainless-steel pipework
Pipe fabrication, fit-up, alignment and preparation
Reading and interpreting isometric drawings and welding specifications
Pipe cutting, beveling, preparation and tacking
Fabrication and assembly of industrial pipework
Completing welds to required quality and specifications
General workshop fabrication and maintenance
Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment




Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, safety and quality
WHAT'S ON OFFER
$58 per hour
Monday-Friday
10-hour days
Occasional Saturday work
Brisbane-based workshop

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
ExperiencedPipe Welder
Solid pipe welding and fabrication experience
TIG welding experience highly regarded
Experience with carbon and/or stainless-steel pipe
Ability to read and interpretisometric drawings
Strong pipe fit-up and fabrication skills
Industrial, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing or heavy industrial experience advantageous
Relevant welding qualifications/tickets
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
