$***** per hour + super (inclusive of casual loading)

About the role
n
We are seeking individuals who have the availability to attend shifts at short notice, have their own reliable vehicle and have the flexibility to work across several locations. A positive attitude, great communication skills and strong focus on safety will assist in your success in this role.
n
The crossings operate for 45 minutes Monday to Friday between the hours of:
n
n
8am and 9am and
n
3pm and 4pm.
n
n
What we're looking for (Key Selection Criteria):
n
n
A current Working with Children Check and completion of a satisfactory pre-employment Police Check (mandatory).
n
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and without supervision.
n
Ability to work within clearly defined procedures, policies and regulations.
n
Flexibility to travel to any crossing within the municipality and to attend training sessions as required.
n
Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.
n
Ability to build a positive rapport with children, parents and school staff is essential.
n
Good and clear verbal communication skills with previous experience working with children and the general public.
n
Computer skills required for completion of online training.
n

This position is subject to a satisfactory Police Check; Employee Working with Children Check and Pre-employment Medical Assessment prior to commencement.
