About the Role
n
As an Area Manager, your focus will be on ensuring stores consistently deliver the required standards across quality, customer service, merchandising, food, fuel and overall store operations.
n
You'll spend time in the field conducting audits and assessments, but just as importantly, you'll work alongside store teams to coach, influence and implement practical improvements.
n
What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Champion retail standards across stores, including merchandising, marketing, point-of-sale and customer service
n
Conduct quality, standards, audit and product compliance checks
n
Monitor compliance across food safety, safe working practices and workplace health & safety
n
Identify operational gaps and work with Licensees and Store Managers to develop and implement improvement plans
n
Coach and train store teams to ensure consistent brand and operational standards
n
Complete the full audit cycle, assessing operational effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance
n
Analyse audit findings and store data, preparing clear reports and recommendations for stakeholders
n
Identify opportunities to improve sales, marketing and store performance, and support their implementation
n
Build strong relationships with Licensees, Store Managers and internal and external stakeholders
n
Support new store openings and the rollout of field programs and initiatives
n
Travel regularly across the state, including some overnight stays and occasional air travel
n

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, confident working with people and comfortable assessing performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
n
Whether your background is in retail management, fast food, petrol & convenience or auditing, this is an opportunity to take your experience into a broader, multi‐site Area Manager role.

To Be Successful, You'll Bring

Previous experience in retail, quick food, food service, petrol & convenience or auditing
n
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify operational gaps
n
Experience working with standards, compliance, processes or performance
n
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
The confidence to coach, influence and work with people at all levels
n
The ability to analyse information and produce clear, accurate reports
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
A practical, solutions‐focused approach
n
Good commercial awareness and a focus on achieving results
n
A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to undertake frequent travel
n
