Functional Pathology Laboratory & Dispensary – Sydney

We are a growing functional pathology laboratory and dispensary supporting practitioners across Australia and we are looking for a Full-Time Technician to join our team.

The Role
n
This role will be based in our pathology laboratory and dispensary in Alexandria, Sydney.
n
Core responsibilities include:
n
n
Performing sample testing, instrument operation, specimen reception, data entry.
n
Reporting and reviewing results.
n
General laboratory cleaning, calibration, and maintenance.
n
Supporting and shipping from the dispensary, including building test kits.
n
Participating in research projects and developing new testing protocols.
n
Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, troubleshooting, and ensuring best practice.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n




n
Experience in a laboratory setting (functional pathology experience highly regarded).
n
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
n
Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines.
n
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
n
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / Google Docs.
n
A team-focused attitude with strong customer service skills.
n
Flexibility to support both lab and dispensary operations as required.
n
n
Highly regarded experience:
n
n
Roche equipment and ELISA (manual or semi-automatic).
n
n
Minimum qualification:
n
Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent, with subjects relevant to medical science, pathology or medical laboratory operations.
