We're looking for a highly organised Project Assistant to join our growing architecture and modular housing team. This is a hands-on role supporting our architects and project managers across a range of residential, education, and modular building projects.

About the Role

You'll assist with day-to-day project coordination, communication, and documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in design innovation, construction, or planning who wants to develop their career in a professional design environment.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Communicate with clients, consultants, and suppliers by phone and email
n
Prepare and format project documents (Word, Excel, PDF)
n
Manage data entry and maintain project records
n
Assist with quote preparation and issuing invoices
n
Track incoming invoices and payments
n




Support project reporting and scheduling
n
Assist with graphic material for proposals and presentations (basic layout or design skills a plus)
n

Skills and Experience
n
n
Strong organisational and communication skills
n
Robust understanding of AU planning system is highly desirable
n
Confident speaking with clients, consultants, and suppliers — this role involves a lot of conversation and relationship-building
n
Sales or customer service experience is a strong advantage
n
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
n
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite/ Affinity desirable but not essential
n
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
n
Previous experience in an architectural, construction, or planning environment (even at entry level) will be highly regarded
n
