Job Description
The Shift Manager is responsible for running a safe, efficient, and profitable shift in the restaurant, ensuring every customer receives a fast, accurate, and friendly experience in line with brand standards.

Key responsibilities

Open or close the store as rostered
n
Allocate crew across stations based on forecasted demand
n
Adjust staffing in real time to manage speed of service and labour cost
n
Monitor food safety and quality throughout the shift, completing required checks in eOPS and Donesafe
n
Step in immediately to correct any deviation from standard
n
Handle customer complaints on the floor
n
Coach crew on performance in the moment
n
Escalate anything requiring manager or owner attention
n
Manage cash handling and till reconciliation for their shift
n
Maintain a clean and protected environment and brief the next shift manager on anything outstanding
n
