About the role
n
Our client is looking for a Speech Pathologist to work primarily with clients who have conditions affecting learning, such as dyslexia, developmental language disorder (DLD), ADHD, and intellectual disability.

Responsibilities
n
n
The caseload includes children aged 5–18, university students, and adults, often working professionals.
n
While the primary focus is on learning and literacy disorders, a small portion of the caseload includes more conventional paediatric speech work, such as articulation, phonology,
and supporting clients with ASD in interpersonal or relational goals.
n
Conducting assessments, interventions, and writing reports.
n
Providing evidence-based literacy therapies (e.g. synthetic phonics, narrative structure, paragraph construction).
n
Delivering language-focused interventions (e.g. vocabulary building, spoken grammar and syntax, narrative programs).
n
Occasionally working off-site (e.g. school visits) or via telehealth.
n
Being based at the Thornlands clinic with some flexibility in hours for the right candidate.
