We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of NHS Finance to join the Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) at a pivotal time for public sector finance.
This is a high-impact leadership role, offering the prospect to shape financial strategy as a key member of the leadership team, influence decision-making, and directly support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across the region.
About The Role
Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer within the HSCP you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial management and supporting strategic priorities across clinical and corporate services.
You will
Lead the delivery of a high-quality financial management service
Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders
Support the development and implementation of financial strategies
Drive financial sustainability and performance improvement
Lead and develop a motivated finance team
About You
Significant experience in a finance leadership role
Strong understanding of financial management and planning
Excellent partnership working skills
Ability to influence and work effectively with senior stakeholders
Experience of leading and developing teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Essential
CCAB qualification (or equivalent)
Experience within the NHS or wider public sector
