Lynskey Structural Consultants Pty Ltd is an independent structural engineering consultancy founded in ****. We provide practical and economical structural solutions across residential, medium/high-rise, commercial and industrial projects.

Due to continued growth and succession planning, we are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Brisbane team.

The Opportunity
n
This is more than a senior engineering role. For the right person, this position provides a genuine pathway to taking over and ultimately owning the business.
n
You will work directly with the current owner, progressively taking responsibility for project management, client relationships and the day-to-day running of the consultancy.
n
The Role
n
Working closely with clients and project consultants, you will:
n
n
Lead structural design and documentation across a range of projects
n
Manage projects from design through to construction
n
Design in steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry and timber
n
Undertake site inspections and resolve construction issues
n
Liaise directly with clients, architects, builders and consultants
n
Develop practical and economical structural solutions
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who has:
n
n
10+ years' structural engineering experience, preferably in Australia
n
Must be RPEQ
n
Strong structural design experience across a range of materials
n
Robust communication and client management skills
n
Ability to manage projects independently
n
