About the Role
Nurses are at the heart of our team, and we would not be able to do what we do without our amazing nurses. The team is looking for
Casual
Emergency and Critical Care Nurses to join our brand-new facility, working closely with
Dr Patricia Rosenstein
and her experienced team of emergency vets. Our emergency team operates 24 hours, 7 days and so availability to work a variety of shifts is required.

About You
We are looking for passionate
Casual
Emergency and Critical Care Nurses who can work independently, with a reliable, adaptable and proactive approach to your work. We are looking for team members with the following skills:




A keen interest in Emergency and critical care and a desire to work closely with our patients throughout their entire SASH journey.
An ability to remain calm under pressure, while maintaining effective decision-making skills.
Be able to confidently and effectively triage patients.
Experience working in an ICU setting will be highly regarded.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in anaesthesia and ventilation.
Confidence working in an extremely busy environment.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
Completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
A minimum of 2 years, full-time experience as a qualified nurse.
Previous experience in Emergencywould be highly regarded but is not essential.
