Neta Care Holistic Health Services (NCHHS) is looking for a passionate, dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary allied health team and pilot SLP services on the Sunshine Coast.

The Role
n
As a Speech Pathologist at NCHHS, you'll assess, diagnose and manage speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties across all age groups. You'll design and deliver personalised, evidence-based therapy plans, collaborate closely with our wider allied health and medical network, and equip clients and their families with practical strategies for lasting progress.

This is a part-time role (3-4 days/week), with hours to be discussed at interview and potentially grow into full-time.

Administrative Support- Scheduling, Service Agreements & General Support

Responsibilities:
n
n
Deliver clinical services with a sustainable Therapy Hour target of 5 hours/day.
n
Evaluate speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders through comprehensive assessments and diagnostic tools.
n
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
n
Provide direct therapy services to clients to improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities, utilising evidence-based techniques.
n
Educate clients and their families about disorders, therapy options, and strategies to support progress at home.
n
Track and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
n
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to coordinate care and support clients' overall well-being.
n
Provide immediate intervention for clients experiencing severe or urgent issues related to communication or swallowing.
n
Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, therapy plans, and client progress, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
n
Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:
n
n
Bachelor/Masers degree in Speech Pathology
n
Current registration with SPA
n
Current Paid NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
Current Paid Blue Card
n
Current First aid and CPR
n
Experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
