Tara Forklift Services has a vacancy for a Diesel Motor Mechanic at their business. This is a permanent, full time position. Skills, Qualifications and Experience

n

To qualify this position, you will have;

n

n
AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, or equivalent or relevant experienceor
n
AQF Certificate III Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience
n
minimum 5 years' experience
n
Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience.
n
Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems.
n
Diagnose any problems with the forklifts or equipment by using scanning tools and computers
n
Repairs and replacement of defective parts with reference to service manuals
n




Completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are upheld and to ensure the safety of the customer's equipment
n
Inspect and perform routine check-ups of key components including engine, steering, transmission, suspension, and brakes
n
Repair damaged parts, units, malfunctions or deficiencies with the forklift or equipment
n
Test drive equipment to see if the fault has been rectified
n

Remuneration/Salary $75,000 to $85,000 per annum

n

Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant. Application
