The Role & Duties
n
Be part of the maintenance trades team working across fabrication, welding and repairs on underground equipment and site infrastructure. You will report into the maintenance superervisors.
n
n
Welding wear plates onto buckets and bodywork across underground machinery
n
Fabrication, installation and repairs to site specifications
n
Tub changes and component upgrades to OEM and site requirements
n
Machinery additions - fire extinguisher mounts, handrails and site-specific fit outs
n
Working to drawings and reading plans accurately
n
n

Stay at a good and clean camp that sits right next to site.
n
n
2:2 roster with charter FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns
n
Own donga room, most with en-suites
n
Gym, pool and football facilities

Resident chefs,

Your Value

Boilermaker trade cert is the must-have - mining experience is a bonus, but we'll back the right person with the right attitude.

You must be a trade qualified Boilermaker
n
Solid welding and fabrication skills
n
Ability to work to drawings and read plans accurately
n
Mining, civil or heavy industry background well regarded
n
Physically fit and able to handle 12-hour shifts across a full swing
n
Safety-first mindset and the discipline to follow site procedures
n
Current manual driver's licence, pre-employment medical and national police check
n
