Technical Delivery Manager - Data & Analytics

We're looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of a complex enterprise technology initiative spanning data, analytics, reporting, AI and cloud platforms within a major Queensland government department.
n
Working closely with senior project leadership, architects, engineers, analysts, vendors and operational teams, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of technical workstreams and ensure solutions move successfully from architecture and planning through implementation, testing and operational transition.
n
This is a hands‐on delivery leadership role suited to someone who can comfortably operate between senior stakeholders and highly technical delivery teams.

Brisbane CBD location: Hybrid

Up to $150 per hour

What you'll be doing
n
n
Lead day-to-day technical delivery across multiple workstreams
n
Translate architecture and solution designs into executable delivery plans and work packages
n
Manage technical schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks and critical-path activities
n
Coordinate architects, data engineers, analysts, vendors and operational support teams
n
Oversee delivery across data integration, analytics, reporting, AI and cloud services
n
Ensure solutions meet agreed architecture, governance, security and quality standards
n
Coordinate testing, deployment, release and service transition activities
n
Manage external vendors and implementation partners
n
Drive operational readiness and ensure solutions are production-ready and supportable
n
Provide technical delivery reporting, recommendations and advice to senior stakeholders
n

What we're looking for

You'll bring robust experience delivering complex enterprise technology initiatives, ideally across:

Data warehousing
n
Data lakes / lakehouse architectures
n
Business intelligence and reporting
n
Data integration and APIs
n
Data governance
n
AI / advanced analytics
n
Enterprise application integration
n
Cloud-based data platforms
n
n
You'll also have a strong background across the Microsoft ecosystem, ideally including:

n
Azure Data Services
n
Azure DevOps
n
Power BI
n
Microsoft Entra ID
