Job Description
We are seeking Casual Sales Assistants to join the team at PANERAMA PTY LTD trading as Bakers Delight Sturt Mall in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail setting.
As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our store.
This position is perfect for individuals seeking flexible work arrangements whilst gaining valuable retail experience.
What you'll be doing
Providing friendly and efficient customer service to shoppers, assisting them with product information and purchases
Processing transactions at the till, handling cash and card payments accurately
Restocking shelves and displays to maintain a neat, organised and visually appealing store environment
Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure product freshness and availability
Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store
Supporting promotional activities and helping to set up displays as directed
Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
Working collaboratively with team members to meet sales targets and deliver an excellent shopping experience
What we're looking for
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic numeracy skills and competence with point-of-sale systems
Physical capability to lift and move stock items regularly
Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends as required
availability over the Christmas & Easter period.
A willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential for enthusiastic candidates
