Early Childhood Teacher - Part Time Contract for ****

Mitchelton Pre-Schooling Centre (MPC) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. Commencing in Term 1, **** in our Unit 2-3 day group Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (45 hours per fortnight). This is a 12 month contract role for the **** school year with the possibility of extension.

45 Hours per fortnight, working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
n
Employment and remuneration for this position is covered by the Mitchelton Pre-Schooling Centre Inc Early Childhood Education Centre Enterprise Agreement ****

Requirements
n
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent with ACECQA approval
n
Current Queensland Teachers Registration
n
Minimum 3 years experience in the role of ECT
n
Must hold a current blue card or exemption card
n
Must hold first aid/CPR including asthma and anaphylaxis
n
Completed or willing to complete all mandatory Child Safety Training
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
n
Attendance at staff and committee meetings
n

In collaboration with the Educational Leader, delivering a high quality, inclusive early childhood educational program based on the Early Years Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
n
An understanding of 'Play' and in its importance to children's learning.
n
Demonstrate open and effective communication with children, parents, management committee and colleagues.
n
A growth mind-set and commitment to professional development and team collaboration.
n
Commitment to sustainability, diversity and inclusion.
n
Experience teachers and educators collaborate with children to deliver an outstanding program with an emphasis on our natural workplace.
