The Chance
n
We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to take a leading role in project delivery, technical reporting and client support. This position suits a confident engineer who has developed a solid technical foundation and is able to take ownership of projects, work and build relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Plan, coordinate and oversee geotechnical investigation projects through to completion.
n
Undertake soil and rock logging in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and project requirements.
n
Analyse field and laboratory data and prepare clear, practical geotechnical reports and recommendations.
n




Prepare factual and interpretive geotechnical reports
n
Review draft reports prepared by junior engineers.
n
Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, subcontractors and client communications.
n
Mentor and support developing engineers.
n
Support business development through building robust client relationships
n
Promote a strong safety, quality and continuous improvement culture across site and office activities.

About You
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
n
Approximately 3-5 years' local experience in geotechnical consulting, investigations, analysis and reporting.
n
Strong understanding of Australian Standards, soil and rock mechanics and geotechnical interpretation.
n
Proven field capability, including supervision of drilling contractors and management of investigation programs.
n
Excellent technical writing, communication and verbal skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver accurate, commercially practical outcomes.
n
Experience preparing factual and interpretive geotechnical reports.
n
A current Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel for fieldwork as required.
