FORKLIFT DRIVER – MARRICKVILLE

We're looking for reliable and experienced Forklift Drivers to join a busy food processing facility in Marrickville, NSW.
n
You'll play an important role in keeping the site running smoothly by safely moving pallets and stock between buildings in a busy poultry processing environment.
n
About the Role
n
This is a hands-on forklift position working across a busy food processing facility. You'll primarily operate a Counterbalance Forklift and will be required to work in cool room and freezer environments.
n
A key part of the role involves moving pallets between buildings, including operating the forklift across a public road, so confidence and a robust focus on safety are essential.
n
The site is conveniently located a short walk from Sydenham Station, making it easy to access via public transport.
n
Your day-to-day will include:
n

Operating a Counterbalance Forklift
n
Moving pallets and stock between buildings
n
Safely operating a forklift across a public road
n
Loading and unloading pallets
n




Working in cool room and freezer environments
n
Following site safety and food handling procedures
n
Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
n
n
What We're Looking For:
n
n
Current forklift licence with Counterbalance experience
n
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
Comfortable working in cool room and freezer environments
n
Confident operating a forklift safely across a public road
n
Able to follow instructions and site procedures
n
Food manifesting experience preferred but not essential
n
Previous warehouse or food processing experience highly regarded
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n

Pay Rate: $***** per hour

Hours: 5:00am – 1:00pm

Roster: Monday to Friday, ongoing
