Position Overview
n
A rare and exciting opportunityhas now arisen to join our Industrial & Employment Law (I&E;) team inSydney and/or Brisbane. This role will have you working with other likeminded lawyers and forming partof our wider National I&E; team across the country. This is a permanent full-time opportunity, withflexible work options available to enjoy working across both home and office. The level of this role is adaptable and will be dependent on your experience.

Key to yoursuccess in this position will be a previous knowledge of employment andindustrial law, together with a proactive, passionate and results drivennature.
n
Our I&E; Lawyers assist and represent both union andindividual clients in industrial and employment law matters such as:
n
n
Underpayments
n
Workplace disputes
n
Industrial action proceedings
n
Enterprise bargaining
n
Unfair dismissals and general protections claims
n
Discrimination
n
Workplace investigations
n




Bullying and harassment.
n
n
Experience
n
n
Significant experience as an Employment and/or
IndustrialRelations
Lawyer with proven post admission experience of at least 7 years.
n
Proven ability to conduct all levels of litigation in the relevant Courts and
Commissions/Tribunals.
n
Significant experience representing employees and Unions
n
Positive and effective leadership and management of staff
n
Active skills in increasing clientele and building externalnetworks
n
n
To be eligible for this position, you must be an Australiancitizen, a permanent resident, or hold a valid visa with full and
unrestrictedworking
rights in Australia. Proof of work rights will be required as part of the Slater and Gordon application process.
