We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Services Officer to join our Housekeeping team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service in a busy healthcare setting.

About the Role
n
n
Maintain high standards of cleanliness across patient rooms, wards, public areas and staff areas
n
Complete general cleaning and housekeeping duties in line with workplace procedures and infection control requirements
n
Clean, restock and safely store equipment and supplies used during each shift
n
Support safe, efficient patient flow by working cooperatively with nursing, clinical and support teams
n
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, visitors and staff
n
Follow all workplace health and safety, manual handling and hygiene requirements
n
This is a category A role

Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination and immunisation history is mandatory and must be provided prior to commencement of employment
n

About You
n
n
Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping or environmental services is preferred
n
Experience in a hospital, aged care or healthcare environment is desirable
n
You have strong attention to detail and take pride in your work
n
You are friendly, dependable and able to work well as part of a team
n
You are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and infection control
n
You are flexible and available to work casual shifts across a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays as required
n
