This is a hands-on position working alongside experienced installers, carpenters and plasterers. It is a great opportunity for someone with construction experience who wants to learn specialised acoustic installation techniques and progress into an Acoustic Installer role.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Assisting installers with acoustic wall and ceiling systems
n
Installing acoustic panels, insulation and soundproofing materials
n
Assisting with
plasterboard/Gyprock
and basic carpentry work
n
Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
n
Using hand and power tools
n
Loading, unloading and moving materials
n
Setting up and packing down work areas
n
Keeping sites clean, organised and secure
n
Following instructions, drawings and installation procedures
n
Working at different project locations throughout Sydney
n
n
About you
n
n
Has a valid Construction White Card
n
Has full working rights in Australia
n
Has appropriate PPE
n
Has basic experience using hand and power tools
n
Has some experience in construction,



labouring or a similar hands-on role
n
Is physically capable of carrying out construction work
n
Is reliable and punctual
n
Takes pride in their work
n
Can follow instructions and work as part of a team
n
Is willing to learn new skills and installation techniques
n
