South Australian Housing Trust Job reference: ****** Location: **** - ADELAIDE Job status: Long Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone The Senior Taxation and Capital Accountant is responsible for, analysing work for quality assurance purposes and applying specialised accounting knowledge to account for SA Housing Trust's property assets and capital programs, whilst also ensuring legal and administration taxation compliance development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of systems relating to taxation.
The role's responsibilities will focus on the implementation, maintenance and compliance of taxation systems related to several of SAHT's programs and new initiatives; these include current and future arrangements with Community Housing Providers and the newly implemented Rent to Own program.
The role also involves the maintenance of comprehensive capital works registers incorporating both financial and non-financial information to aid in the reconciliation processes and the reporting of information for such programs.
Special Conditions Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.
Role Status Long term contract up to 29 September ****.
