Our client is a major Australian forestry and timber products manufacturer with a large-scale operation in Oberon.
They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their maintenance team and play a key role in keeping the plant running safely and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fault finding, breakdown maintenance and keeping production moving.
What you'll be doing: Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance across manufacturing equipment Respond to breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faults quickly and effectively Repair and maintain machinery to minimise production downtime Complete mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting Work closely with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment operating reliably Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with relevant standards Assist with planned shutdowns and maintenance activities Maintain accurate records using digital maintenance systems What we're looking for: Mechanical Trade Certificate – Cert III in Engineering / Mechanical Trade Previous maintenance experience within a manufacturing, industrial, timber or similar environment Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team Valuable communication and a practical,

The Electrical role will involve: Electrical maintenance across a large-scale manufacturing facility Preventative and breakdown maintenance Fault finding and repairs on industrial electrical equipment Working with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime Supporting planned maintenance and shutdown activities Maintaining equipment in a secure, reliable and compliant condition Identifying opportunities to improve plant reliability and performance To be considered, you'll need: Electrical Trade Qualification Current NSW Electrical Licence Industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience highly regarded Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work safely in a production environment Willingness to work shifts as required Interested?
