Arthur began importing heavy equipment and parts.
What You Will Need Certificate III in Plant Mechanics (Heavy Diesel/Plant not Road Transport) Industry experience within the civil sector, with a strong focus on hydraulics and electrical systems Ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot and identify faults Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work confidently in varied breakdown environments Strong LV (Light Vehicle) mechanics are encouraged to apply if looking to upskill into heavy plant What You Will Be Doing Field Service Fitter Successful candidates will be attending breakdowns and carrying out servicing across civil sites throughout the Perth metropolitan area.
The role will involve diagnosing and fault-finding in office, including replacing motors and other components as required.
Candidates will also return to the Kewdale workshop as needed to build, prepare and assemble parts and components before completing repairs on-site.
Workshop Fitter Based at the Kewdale workshop, successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out inspections,



servicing and repairs primarily on new civil equipment.
The role will involve working across a range of civil machinery, including **** tonne excavators and **** tonne loaders, as well as inspecting and repairing trade-in equipment.
Candidates will also undertake general workshop-based mechanical fault-finding, servicing and repair work.
