Tropical Queensland | Permanent full-time Total remuneration package: up to $536,916 per annum An outstanding opportunity is available for an experienced Nephrologist to join the expanding Renal Unit of a major tertiary referral service in tropical Queensland.

The opportunity You will provide comprehensive specialist renal services across hospital, outpatient, community and outreach settings.
Clinical responsibilities include: Inpatient nephrology consultations Outpatient renal clinics Dialysis and home-based therapies Telehealth and regional outreach services Participation in the after-hours on-call roster Clinical leadership, governance and service planning Supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff and trainees Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching Research, innovation and quality-improvement activities The Renal Unit is continuing to expand, including the development of a dedicated home therapies service.

The position may involve outreach work and occasional travel to other facilities within the broader health service.
