We are looking for an experienced and highly capable Warehouse Inventory Lead to take ownership of our Ormeau Parts Store and play a key role in supporting our growing manufacturing operations.
This is more than a traditional warehouse role.
You will have ownership of the day-to-day warehouse and inventory function, ensuring the right parts are available at the right time to keep production moving.
Working closely with Production, Purchasing and Service, you'll bring structure, accuracy and accountability to our inventory operations while identifying opportunities to improve the way we work.
About the Role As the key person responsible for the Parts Store, you will oversee the full warehouse and inventory function, including: Taking ownership of the daily operation, organisation and security of the Parts Store and warehouse Receiving, checking, processing, storing and issuing inventory Picking and kitting parts for production in accordance with Bills of Materials (BOMs) Picking, packing and dispatching customer parts orders Maintaining accurate inventory records and strong stock control Conducting cycle counts, stocktakes, reconciliations and investigating inventory discrepancies Monitoring stock levels and supporting replenishment and purchasing activities Coordinating freight,



including loading and unloading vehicles and collecting urgent parts from suppliers when required Working closely with Production, Purchasing and Service to ensure parts availability and minimise production delays Providing administrative and operational support to the Production Manager Maintaining a clean, organised and protected warehouse environment Identifying and implementing improvements to warehouse, inventory and safety processes Supporting STG's Stapylton facilities, including the Kyokuto Production Facility and Holding Yard, as required About You We're looking for an experienced warehouse and inventory professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and making things happen.
You may currently be working as a Senior Storeperson, Warehouse Lead, Inventory Coordinator, Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
You will bring: Demonstrated experience in a senior warehouse, stores or inventory role Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management and warehouse operations Experience with cycle counts, stocktakes, reconciliations and investigating stock discrepancies Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment would be highly regarded Strong computer skills and experience with ERP, or inventory management systems The ability to read and work from Bills of Materials (BOMs)
