Join a global organisation who is shaping the future of communication About Our Client Reporting to the APAC HR Leader, you'll work closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners, Legal, and Centres of Excellence to deliver commercially focused and legally compliant people solutions that support business success.
Job Description As the primary HR Business Partner for ANZ, you will play a critical role in supporting leaders through complex workforce matters and organisational change initiatives.
You will be a trusted advisor, balancing employee experience, business priorities, and compliance requirements while helping leaders make informed and effective decisions.
Key responsibilities include: Providing expert advice on employee relations matters, workforce risk, and organisational challenges Managing complex investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters, performance improvement plans, and terminations Leading consultation processes, restructures, and organisational change initiatives Advising leaders on employment legislation, consultation obligations, and people-related risk Partnering with HR Business Partners and business leaders to implement workforce strategies Supporting talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership capability development Identifying emerging workforce trends and recommending proactive solutions Representing HR in leadership discussions, presentations,
and stakeholder forums The Successful Applicant You are an experienced HR practitioner who combines strong employment relations expertise with commercial acumen and the ability to influence at senior levels.
You will bring: Minimum 8 years' experience in HR Business Partnering and Employee Relations Extensive experience supporting employee populations across Australia and New Zealand Strong knowledge of ANZ employment law, employee relations frameworks, and consultation requirements Proven capability managing complex investigations, workplace matters, restructures, and organisational change programs Experience partnering with senior leaders and providing strategic people advice Strong stakeholder management, coaching, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Experience using workforce insights and data to support decision-making Highly Regarded Experience acting as the lead HR advisor for a country, region, or business unit Exposure to multinational or global organisations Experience working within a shared services HR model Background supporting employee representative groups, unions, or consultation forums Experience in technology, engineering, or other quick-paced regulated industries Strong presentation and executive communication skills What's on Offer Strategic ANZ leadership opportunity within a global organisation High-impact role with significant stakeholder engagement Exposure to complex employee relations and organisational change initiatives Collaborative international HR environment Hybrid working arrangement with flexibility Opportunity to influence business outcomes and shape people strategy
