About the role As an experienced Clinical Nurse - Quality Risk , you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care by promoting best practice in clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement, and accreditation activities across the hospital.
Acting as a trusted resource for managers and clinicians, you will provide expert guidance, facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, and support compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
This influential role will see you work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to drive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
You will be instrumental in the coordination and analysis of clinical incidents, consumer feedback, audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement activities, ensuring lessons learned are translated into meaningful outcomes that enhance patient care and organisational performance.
This is a Permanent Part time opportunity working up to 45.6 hours per fortnight , offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful quality and risk initiatives while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Your skills and experience The successful applicant will hold current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and bring substantial clinical experience, advanced specialty knowledge,



and demonstrated leadership capability.
You will have a sound understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement methodologies, and continuous improvement practices, with a commitment to supporting safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in a Clinical Nurse, Clinical Midwife, or equivalent leadership role will be highly regarded, as will the ability to influence positive change and contribute to organisational quality and patient safety initiatives.

We can offer you Salary: $109,599 to $115,682 (pro rata for part-time), plus 12% superannuation Permanent Part-Time opportunity working up to 45.6 hours per fortnight Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
