We have an opportunity for an Accountant or experienced Bookkeeper to join the team at our office in the Southern Highlands, NSW. This full or part-time role will see you providing high-quality client focused accounting services to a diverse range of clients.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Preparing and lodging tax returns for individuals, Self-Managed Superfunds and business clients
n
Providing taxation planning, small business advice and strategic guidance
n
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
n
Collaborating with clients to understand their unique financial needs and objectives
n
Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
n




At least 1-5 years' experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper, preferably in a public practice environment
n
An understanding of relevant Australian tax legislation and regulations such as CGT, GCT and BAS
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
n
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work on a timely basis
n
Competency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, BGL and Handisoft
n
A proactive and problem-solving mindset
n
