CG Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Cold Store Supervisors to join a leading warehousing and distribution operation. We have four opportunities available across various shifts within a fast paced cold storage environment.

About the Role
n
As a Cold Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading warehouse operations within a temperature controlled workplace, ensuring daily operational targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, productivity, quality and team performance.
n
You will provide hands on leadership, support and direction to your team while driving a positive workplace culture and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the warehouse.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead, mentor and supervise warehouse team members
n
Manage daily warehouse operations within a cold storage environment
n
Coordinate labour allocation and workflow activities
n
Monitor productivity and ensure operational KPIs are achieved
n
Oversee inbound and outbound freight operations
n
Maintain inventory accuracy and stock control processes
n
Conduct toolbox talks and team briefings
n
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all workplace procedures
n
Support employee development through coaching and performance management
n
Work closely with management to improve operational efficiency and outcomes
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Previous experience as a Cold Store Supervisor
n
Demonstrated supervisory experience within a cold storage or temperature controlled warehouse environment
n
Forklift Licence (LF)
n
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
n
Strong leadership and people management skills
n
Sound understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving and dispatch processes
n
Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving abilities
n
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
Previous experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or food distribution environments
n
Strong administration and reporting capabilities
n
Ability to work across a variety of shifts
n
