We're looking for an experienced, energetic Venue Manager to take the lead and drive the performance, culture and guest experience across one of our established entertainment venues.

THE ROLE
n
As Venue Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of iPlay Tenpin City Lidcombe, leading a team that delivers exceptional experiences across league bowling, social bowling and arcade entertainment.
n
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be hands-on, commercially focused and passionate about creating a venue that guests want to return to again and again.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
n
Lead and inspire a high-performing venue team
n
Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the venue
n
Drive the performance and growth of league and bowling operations
n
Ensure exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences
n
Manage rosters, labour costs, inventory and venue resources
n
Oversee reporting, budgets, stock control and ordering
n
Monitor venue performance and identify opportunities to improve results
n
Build robust relationships with league bowlers, social bowlers and regular guests
n
Lead from the front during busy periods, events and peak trading times
n
Ensure high standards of safety, cleanliness and compliance
n
Coach and develop your team to reach their full potential
n




Work closely with the Regional Manager and wider leadership team to achieve business goals
n
ABOUT YOU
n
You're a people leader, problem solver and all-round good time enthusiast who knows how to get the best out of a team.
n
You'll bring:
n
Strong knowledge of bowling operations, particularly league bowling, with a genuine understanding of what drives a successful bowling centre
n
Proven leadership experience in bowling, entertainment, hospitality, retail, leisure or a similar fast-paced setting
n
A hands-on leadership style and a willingness to get stuck in
n
Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of venue performance
n
Excellent communication and people-management skills
n
Confidence managing budgets, labour costs, stock and reporting
n
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
n
The ability to remain calm, positive and solutions-focused under pressure
n
Confidence around arcade games and interactive entertainment
n
Flexibility to work across days, nights, weekends and public holidays
n
Ideally, qualifications such as RSA, RMLV, Food Safety Supervisor or other relevant certifications
n
