About the Role We are seeking two Road Workers to join a Government regional maintenance crew in Mittagong.
This is a hands-on outdoor role involving road repairs, general maintenance, traffic control and physical labour using hand and power tools.
Position : Road Worker Pay Rate : $***** per hour + superannuation Location : Mittagong, NSW Expected Hours : 76 hours per fortnight, 9-day fortnight Anticipated Duration : ASAP until 24 December **** Key Responsibilities Complete pothole and pavement repairs Install and maintain road signage Remove debris and roadside hazards Undertake vegetation control activities Assist with traffic control duties Complete maintenance safety runs Use hand and power tools safely Perform general road maintenance activities Follow Team Leader and Works Supervisor directions Maintain WHS and secure work practices About You Current White Card Current Workers on Foot certificate or willing to obtain Current unrestricted Australian Car Driver Licence MR licence or higher highly regarded Traffic Control tickets or willing to obtain Roadworks, civil or labouring experience preferred Physically fit for repetitive manual work Comfortable working outdoors and around traffic Reliable, safety-focused team player Willing to complete a Police Check Able to provide two recent employment references Valid Australian working rights required (no visa sponsorship available) Application Process Due to the high volume of applications and the limited submission timeframe, we may not be able to contact all applicants.
