About the role: In this key role, you will help plan and develop a diverse range of infrastructure projects - from roads, paths and drainage networks to coastal infrastructure, car parks, bridges and public transport facilities.
What you'll be doing: Investigating and refining project scope requirements, developing project documentation and cost estimates.
Managing consultants undertaking studies and investigations.
Supporting grant funding applications and project business cases.
Coordinating stakeholder consultation and engagement activities.
Assisting with statutory approvals and agency clearances.
Contributing to the City's Capital Works Program and annual budgeting processes.
Responding to infrastructure-related customer enquiries.




Collaborating with the design and survey team on required works.
What you'll bring to the role: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications or subsequent experience in civil engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
Experience in municipal engineering, asset planning or project management.
Knowledge of roads, footpaths, drainage networks and public infrastructure assets.
Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
Desirable but not essential - Experience using a range of software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation , QGIS .
