Full-time Contract 37.5 hours per week $82,426- $91,689 per annum Total Effective Package* $102,928 - $113,490 About the role The Medicare Administrative Officer is responsible for Medicare, Practice Incentive Payment (PIP) and My Medicare administration for all clinic services across Central Australian Aboriginal Congress and assists the Medicare Coordinator and Revenue Manager with various Medicare associated duties.
To be considered for this position, you will require: Competent work organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, achieve goals with established timelines and operate in a methodical manner paying particular attention to detail.
Experience with processing Medicare claims, in particular online claiming or the ability to learn.
Well-developed ability to maintain strict confidentiality and use sound judgement, tact and discretion in dealing with colleagues and clients.
Ability to work with limited supervision Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences, both in writing and verbally.
Possess basic computer skills, including use of Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe.
Willingness, ability and appropriate levels of health and fitness to travel to and work from remote locations.
